“I am still committed to my statement that I will quit politics if BJP comes to power on its own. But regional parties will not support the communal forces to come to power,” Deve Gowda said today.

Just before 48 hours prior to polling, former Prime Minister and JD(S) chief H.D.Deve Gowda believes that his party would win in more than 50% seats in the State.

Gowda exuded confidence that his party candidates would win in 15 or 16 seats in the State.

Stating that neither the UPA nor the NDA would come to power at the Center, former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda has reiterated that this time a third alternative would get a chance to rule.

“People are in favor of regional parties, which will come under an umbrella and form the government,” he said while interacting with media persons after campaigning today at Arasikere.
