Government sets up Emergency control room to rescue stranded kannadigas in Jammu & Kashmir floods

ENARADA, Bangalore, September 7, 2014

Due to Heavy Floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Number of tourists from Karnataka have been stranded in floods.

Office of the Deputy Secretary, Revenue Department, Disaster Management, M.S. Building, Bangalore, have requested Public to contact them in case of any relative or friends are trapped in floods.

“Public are requested to send the details of their relatives / friends who are stranded in the flood areas in Jammu and Kashmir to State Disaster Management Control Room, M.S.Buidling, 5th Floor, Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore – 560 001, so that the State Government will be able to rescue them safely,” mentions Government press release.
