‘Aam Aadmi builds the nation while Netas wither’

Netas (Big Leaders) will come and go but Aam Aadmi (Common man)  will make a difference to the country- said, RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Ji Bhagwat while interacting with slum children, today.

“You are the country. do not think you are a small person. Grow yourself. Become a good person. Do not underestimate yourself. When you realise your potential and get taller in character, country will automatically progress,” Mohan Ji Bhagwat said.

He was addressing the group of children and women from Hombegowdanagar slum and nearby areas at the Anganawadi kendra , behind Mallige Hospital, Siddapura in Wilson Gardens, as part of the program ‘Jagarana Project’ organised by Rashtrotthana Parishat, Bengaluru.

Women carrying kalasa and arati welcomed Mohan Ji Bhagwat by applying Tilaka. He offered flowers to the statue of Ambedkar as a tribute and went inside Hombegowdanagara Slum.  He spent some time inside the house of  Pandian,  president of Ambedkar Sangha and gracefully accepted snacks and milk offered to him. Before leaving the house he lighted incense sticks and offered to big portrait of Lord Venkateshwara inside the house.

Moving in a narrow lane, Mohan Ji Bhagwat and other RSS leaders, entered the temple of ‘Muttu Mariyamma’ located in the heart of the slum and offered pooja.

As part of the last program in the slum, he graced the function in the Anganawadi kendra.  The event started with mass  chanting of ‘OM’ manthra. Later the assembled group of children and women recited Gayathri Manthra, Prarthana, Patriotic song and Dohas of Kabir.
