First he utters ‘bad’ words against AICC President Sonia Gandhi, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other Congress leaders, later he rushes to CM’s residence to tender unconditional apology to save himself from the enraged congress party workers. This drama unfolded today at Mysore. The theatre artist is Master Hirannaiah.

The incident occurred during a function organised by a literary organisation in the city which held a state-level poets conference at the Nanandabrhma Sangeetha Sabha premises.

Hiranniah, known for his sharp criticism of politicians in his political plays, went on in the same vein while addressing the gathering and some of his remarks enraged the Congress workers.

The Congress party workers in the city protested violently.  The enraged Congress workers went berserk and smashed furniture at the venue. The entire incident was occurred in a few minutes and organisers remained mute spectators.

Later, when matter turned serious, Mr Hirannaiah hurriedly met Mr Siddaramaiah and regretted for his outbursts and sought unconditional apologies. Chief Minister had come to his residence at Mysore city hometown during weekend and this proved lucky for Hirannaiah to meet him.

Accepting the apology, Mr Siddaramaiah immediately released a statement saying that Congress workers should not take the matter any further.
