Axis Communications today announced its partnership with the Café Coffee Day (CCD) for installing physical security solutions at over 500 CCD outlets in India. The expected benefits would be increased security, better staff management which will consequently result in enhancing the customer experience overall.
“Our objective was to implement a surveillance system that goes beyond ensuring security and actually serves as a tool to enhance the overall operational efficiency,” said Venkatesh Babu S, Head-MIS, Café Coffee Day. “With 24/7 surveillance, the top level management will have a window into all the locations at all times, irrespective of their physical location.”
“The cameras that would be installed at the stores are Axis fixed dome network cameras – AXIS M3011, M3004-V and AXIS M3203 which are specifically designed and best suited for Café’/ restaurant business” said Sudhindra Holla, Country Manager, Axis Communications, India.
When Enarada team met a customer at a CCD outlet, he expressed unhappiness about installing cameras as it will curtail freedom. “We come here to relax, we need privacy and certainly we do not like to be watched” customer said.
