Bangalore, February 15 : The Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar received a appreciation from the Council Chariman and the Speaker for having successfully completed the Budget Session , today.
It can be recalled that just before the budget session , 13 BJP members including the then ministers had resigned from the Government and created a tension to the ruling Government as the strength of the BJP members had come down drastically.
Though BJP Government had a wafer thin majority , no other political party had moved the no confidence motion and BJP Government concluded the Budget session without any hassles.
While Council Chairman D.H.Shankarmurthy offered a bouquet of flowers to CM for the success , Speaker K.G.Bopaiah placed a Kodava headgear on the CM as a token of appreciation.
