ENARADA, Bangalore, November 17, 2013:

BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi came down heavily on the Congress Government in Karnataka for withdrawing the cow protection bill passed by previous BJP Government.

It can be recalled that, in their first cabinet meeting itself, Congress Government headed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had withdrawn the  Karnataka Prevention of Slaughtering and Preservation of Cattle Bill (2010) and the Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughtering and Prevention (Amendment) Bill (2012).

Narendra Modi was addressing a ‘Bharatha Gellisi’ (make India Win) rally in Bangalore on November 17, 2013.
