ENARADA, Mysore, August 25,2013:
People flocked to Dasara Exhibition Grounds today to take a look at Chow-Chow breed from China, Fila Brasileiro costing Rs. 1.5 lakh, Belgian Shepherd, Rough Collie and French Bull Dog Karnataka’s pride Mudhol Hound and other different breed of Dogs.
More than 400 Dogs of 40 different breeds participated in the 102nd and 103rd All India championship Dog show organised by Mysore Kennel Club. This was the 3rd edition of Dog Show and organisers said the number of participating dogs have increased this year.
Some of the dogs which participated were internationally bred and dogs from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai , Noida, Kolkata, and pune also participated.
The Canine Club of Mysore was also inaugurated on the occasion with B.P. Manjunath as its President, Dr. S.C. Suresh as Vice-President and Dr. Sanjeev Murthy as Hon. Secretary.
