BANGALORE, JANUARY 31 :The e-Platform Domain is increasing in Government Service, day-by-day, according to the Principal Secretary to Government in the Department of e-Governance Mr I. S. N. Prasad.
Inaugurating a three-day Training Programme for Officers of more than 20 Government Departments on Detailed Project Reports for e-Governance Projects here on Thursday, he said, whether the implementing agencies and officers like it or dislike it, the e-Platform domain is increasing. Citizens are having high hopes on e-services, which are providing accuracy and accountability, besides, higher transparency in Government Service.
The e-services have not merely increased efficiency but also helped to respond to the directions of the Courts, reports of Comptroller and Auditor General and the Media on time, he observed.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for e-Governance Dr D. S. Ravindran, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion said, the Training Programme is organized as part of the National Capacity Building for Planning and Implementing e-governance Projects in the State.
Mr B. G. Gupta, Advisor IT Applications in Business and Governance, and Mr K. G. Rajeshwar, Consulting Manager of the Wipro Infotech briefed the participants on Stakeholders and Problem identification, Service and Service Levels in the Preparation of Detailed Project Reports.
