In order to increase productivity in Agriculture, Renewable energy, Defence, Desalination, Health Care and many more sectors, Israel is ready to offer its latest technology and training to India, said Mr. Alon Ushpiz, ambassador of Israel to India.
He was speaking at the interactive meeting, today at Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI).
Israel is proud to develop world’s latest and best technology in major sectors due to its commitment and focus on industrial R&D. “Israel Government build platform which is conducive for carrying out R&D activities. It is the Scientists and Business people who engage themselves seriously to innovate cost effective and reliable solutions. In fact 70% of overall contribution to R&D in Israel is made by private sector” Mr. Alon Ushpiz said.
Emphasising the need for utilising latest technology to boost productivity, Mr. Alon Ushpiz displayed a thumb sized ‘Pill Camera’ which can reveal what is happening inside the body of a patient without performing surgery and a ‘Drip Irrigation’ device which can spray water together with fertiliser.
The revolutionary ‘Pill Camera’ uses the same camera used in Anti-tank guided missile, hence accuracy is guaranteed, he said.
When asked about Israel’s comments about elections and political developments in India, he said it is NOOB (None of our Business) and Israel is always ready to extend warm bilateral relationship with India with any political party in power.
