ENARADA, Bhubaneshwar, January 25, 2015

Three Memorandum of Understandings were signed today between KIIT University and three South Korean Institutes, besides opening of Korean Center at KIIT campus.

KIIT and Seoil University of South Korea sign a MoU for student, faculty and research scholar exchange programme, internship for under graduate and post graduate students, short term courses for faculty and students, short term occupational training and exchange of publication and information.

The objective is to accomplish and develop academic, scientific, technical and cultural relations between these two Universities, said a press release.

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS and Dr. Mun-Yun Lee, Chairman, Seoil University signed the MoU.

South Korean Language and Culture Center

The MoU was signed between KIIT & Global Mobile Universities Worldwide (GMUW) Association of South Korea.

As per the MoU a South Korean Center inaugurated at KIIT Campus for Korean language, literature and cultural studies with aims objectives as to become a leading center in India for South Korean language education at beginners to post graduate level in the eastern region of India.

The center will promote Indian literature and culture among South Korean People and will promote Indo-South Korean cultural exchange programme.

Flight Training Center planned

Another MoU was signed between KIIT & Boramae Flight Training Center (BFTC) of South Korea.

Dr. Sasmitarani Samanta, Registrar, KIIT University and Kee-Seong Youn, Principal, BFTC signed on the MoU.

A civil aviation experts training center will be operate soon in KIIT being supported by Korean Govt. along with self-cultivation system of BFTC.

KIIT students who wish to enter the civil aviation pilots can go to Korea and take advantage of BFTC cultivation system.

Prof. Lee Hak-Chun, Dean, International Affairs, Dong-A University; POSCO India MD, Ryu Ho-Chan; Prof P. P. Mathur, VC, KIIT University; Dr. Satyendra Patniak, Rector, Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini, Director, Student Services and other officials of KIIT University and representatives from China, Kirgizstan, Finland, Thailand and USA were present.
