Movie Name – 8mm

Genre – Thriller & Action

The movie begins on a dull note until the entry of ‘Navarasa’ Nayaka Jaggesh.
Jaggesh seems to have worked on his looks as he looks dashing and rugged in the new avatar.
Hats off to the director as he looks very promising.

The director has tried to show reality as much as possible in his reel story. Jaggesh is ably supported by Vasista who plays the role of a cop. After a long time, we get to see producer-actor Rockline Venkatesh is showing his acting skills on the screen.

Music plays a great role in a thriller genre. However, the BGM is very essential to increase the pace, the playback music can halt the pace, which is the case in this movie also. As a result, the movie appears to be dragged a bit. While the 8mm falls flat in the first half, it fires in the latter half. The story of the movie is about a father who sacrifices everything for the well-being of his family.

The drama part is narrated nicely. However, a word of caution for those rush to theatre assuming comedy by Jaggesh. There is a lesser comedy but more of a thriller with an undercurrent message.

Recommendation-Can be watched once with your family.
