The defeated Congress candidate from Mysore-Kodagu parliamentary constituency, A H Vishwanath today alleged that his own party leaders worked against him.

Speaking to journalists in Mysore, Mr Vishwanath said he is writing a detailed letter to Sonia Gandhi explaining anti-party activities which resulted in losing the battle.

Upset over losing, Mr Vishwanth said “I am urging high command to take serious note of ‘Anti-party’ activities that took place during lok sabha election in many constituencies of Karnataka including mine”.

He further added that despite giving good governance and popular programmes by Chief Minister Siddaramiah during the last one year of rule, people largely opted for change at the Centre.

He congratulated newly elected MP Mr. Pratap simha and promised to extend his co-operation for developing the constituency.
