‘Philosophy of Vivekananda continues to inspire youth to realise their true potential’

In the year 1984 the Government of India declared Birthday of Swami Vivekananda (January 12) as National Youth Day and it is observed since then all over the country to inspire young people to generate moral values with enlightenment of inner soul.

National Youth Day was celebrated with much joy and enthusiasm in KIIT University and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) today.

Paying obeisance at the statue of Swami Vivekananda in KISS capmus, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, youths should integrate and work for the benefit of the country.

“India has a global demographic edge as youths constitute a large proportion of the country’s human resource and the teachings of Vivekananda is the biggest inspiration to them to understand themselves,” said Achyuta Samanta.
