Puneeth Rajkumar’s voice over for Bus character, Tamil actor Arya’s splendid performance, Popular actress Sruthi Hariharan’s appearance as a journalist, Veteran actor P.Ravishankar’s unusual comedy role, many humourus characters and a love story had created buzz for bilingual film Rajaratha (Kannada) & Rajaratham (Telugu). But all the hype vanishes in thin air due to mediocre plot and narrative intrusion.
The film begins with Bus ‘Rajaratha’ introducing all the characters along with their seat numbers. Puneeth Rajkumar who has given the voice over initially attracts the viewers but fails to hold the attention due to too much ‘Flash back’ utterances and interruptive narration.
Nirup Bhandari as Abhi and Avantika Shetty as Megha have given their best performance but fails to create magic. Viewers expecting innovative trend after a successful Rangitaranga were confused whether it is a romantic movie or a political satire, a comedy film or a thriller.
