Israel asks India to use it’s technology to address water crisis

ENARADA, Mysore, May 15, 2014

Israel, the global leader in water reuse technologies is willing to share its innovation to address water crisis in India.

Mr. A.V. Friedman, Consul for Trade and Economic Affairs, Consulate General of Israel, Bangalore disclosed this in Mysore today.

Due to climate change and other reasons, India will face acute shortage of water in few decades, he opined.

He was addressing a joint press conference of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) and Mysore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI).

“The solution is waste water recycling” he said.

Mr. Sudhakar S. Shetty, Chairman of District co-ordination committee, FKCCI, said a delegation comprising 14 members from Mysore city is attending Conferences in Tel Aviv this month to get insight into Agricultural Development, Dairy, Automobile, water treatment and farming styles in Israel.

Israel Innovation Conference (MIX iii – Israel, Innovation, International) is being held at Tel Aviv fair grounds between May 20 and 22, 2014.
