The academic year is almost coming to an end as the students are wrapping up their classes and gearing up for the upcoming tenth standard exams.
As has been the trend for the last few years, Jayanagar Shaikshanika Samiti (JSS) had organised free coaching for 10th standard students with an aim to boost the results. Senior teachers who have decades of experience were roped in for the rigorous training to students so that it becomes easy for the students to attempt the exam without fear.
The valedictory programme will be held on February 12 (Sunday) and will be attended by Rajya Sabha member Rajeev Chandrashekar. JSS honorary president and Jayanagar MLA BN Vijaya Kumar said this was the ninth year of free coaching classes and they have been getting tremendous response. The main aim of the crash course was to provide quality teaching and increase the results of individual students.
