Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu was literally bowled over when he visited the Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) campus on Saturday.

Prabhu, who is credited to have introduced a number of innovative measures ever since he took over as the railway minister in the Narendra Modi cabinet said he had never seen an institution like KISS in his life.

“I am visiting the largest tribal institute in the world for the first time in my life. Educating tribals is a noble work and I am sure that the KISS students will bring laurels not only to the institute but for the entire country. Our tribal culture and tradition are very old and we need to protect it. Students should learn in such a way, so that they can excel in their career and can uphold their culture and tradition. I sincerely thank Dr Samanta for this and will join hands to fulfil his dreams.”
