ENARADA, Mysore, February 13, 2014:
With 1.03 lakh women business entrepreneurs in Karnataka, State ranks third in the country for women entrepreneurial activity.
This was disclosed in workshop on accelerating women entrepreneurship in Karnataka, organised by Women In Small Enterprises (WISE), the Women’s Wing of Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), in association with e-MERG (Engineering Manufacturer Entrepreneurs Resource Group) and Athena Infonomics India Private Limited (AIIPL), here.
Workshop which was aimed at educating women entrepreneurs about the latest technologies in the market, attended by about 100 women entrepreneurs from Mysore, Bangalore, Kolar, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu.
Speaking on the occasion e-MERG Founder President Uma Reddy said that Women entrepreneurship represents a vast untapped source of innovation, job creation and economic growth in the developing world.
District Industries Centre Joint Director M. Shivashankar said that the workshop would educate the women entrepreneurs on the various government schemes and programmes which has been earmarked for the women and asked them to seize the opportunity to avail the funds.
MCCI President A.S. Satish, WISE President Gayatri, e-MERG President Rajalakshmi and others were present in the day long workshop.

Skills:VFX Artist(2 years),Art & Craft,Apparel Fashion Designing,AutoCad 2d 3d,Apparel printing(bathik,screen,tie & die etc…) ,Painting(glass,Fabric etc…)Apparel Design Stitching,Nitting & Tatting,Fashion Jewellery.
We are planing for Small scale manufacturing unit.Im intrested in Apparel Designing but i don’t know present trending business is it work out on it.on totally confused how to establish the processure of small scale manufacturing unit.Can u please suggest me which business or trending now and guide me for subsidy loans and traning sessions.What are the legal requirments of women to establish the small scale manufacturing unit.
