ENARADA, Bangalore, September 9,2013:
The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah left for Dalian in China on Monday night via Singapore and Shanghai to participate at the three day Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum from September 11.
Siddaramaiah boarded the regular Singapore Airlines flight scheduled at 11-05pm for Singapore.
The Chief Minister,who used to be spotted in his traditional white dhoti and shirt or kurta, was looking different today by wearing a Blue Suit and was a star attraction at the Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli , 35 Kms from Bangalore.
The Minister for Home Mr K. J. George, the Minister for Animal Husbandry, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mr T. B. Jayachandra, the Minister for Public Works Dr H. C. Mahadevappa, the Minister for Social Welfare Mr H. Anjaneya were among the prominent dignitaries who were present at the Airport to see-off the Chief Minister for his first bon voyage.
The Chief Minister Mr Siddaramaiah is leading a 22-member delegation, which includes 14- member business group and an eight-member official team. The Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Bangalore on September 15, via Delhi.
