As Narendra Damodardas Modi taking oath as 15th Prime Minister of India on the evening of May 26 at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, cheluvamba hospital in Mysore witnessed a child birth.
The parents Shalini and Krishna named their son who took birth at the same time as the swearing in of the new prime minister as Narendra Krishna Modi.
Similar to prime minister modi’s humble background, the parents of baby boy are also from a poor family in mavinhalli of T.Narasipura taluk in the district.
Due to unemployment, Krishna evern after holding a master degree in sociology, works as a migrant daily wage construction labourer in kerala to support his family.
As soon as modi took oath at the Rasthrapathi bhavan, local BJP leaders approached the couple and requested them to name their baby after the new prime minister. The couple agreed happily.
“Local bjp leaders led by former minister Rarmadas approached us and promised us a job and extend help for our child”, parents said.
Meanwhile Ramdas and others also approached one more couple Uma and Madhu kumar from Hosahalli near Srirangpatna, whose baby was born at 6 pm, a few moments before the swearing in. however, parents were reluctant to name their kid after narendra modi.
