Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji of Sri Raghavendra Mutt, Manthralaya opined that cleaning of country is important but purifying the minds of people is even more important and both should happen together.
He was speaking after inaugurating two days ‘Swatcha- Sundara- Sampoorna Manthralaya’ program at the mutt premises, on October 18, 2014.
Similar to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swatcha Bharat Abhiyaan’, Mutt administration had organised the program, to make the pilgrimage centre clean and divine.
400 volunteers from Bengaluru and 60 participants from Bellary under the leadership of BJP Bengaluru city President, Subba Narasimha camped in the mutt for two days and actively cleaned the mutt and its premises.
