Demanding prohibition of social evils including Madesnana and pankthibeda, awareness walk from Mysore to Kukke Subrahmanya started today.
Organised by karnataka hindulida vargagala jagriti vedike, CPM- Karnataka, Adivasi Rakshana Parishat and Dalita Hakkugala Horata samiti, Jatha was inaugurated by noted folk artist Dr. Ramachandra Gowda, at Kote Anjaneya Temple premises near Mysore Palace.
Participants appearing as Saint Kanakadasa, Social reformer Basavanna and Architect of the constitution of India Ambedkar , attracted the attention of people.
‘Manavathe Kadege; Namma Nadige’ -Jatha will pass through Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Madkeri, Sulya and reach Kukke Subrahmanya in Dakshina Kannda District.
