Bangalore, February 22 : High level meeting of senior officers to include the services of Housing Department to Karnataka Sakaala Services Act -2011, held today.
To help the general public , Government is bringing the services of Housing department including Building plan approval , releasing of sale deed etc., into the fold of ‘sakaala ’ but housing board should take initiative to create awareness among the masses, said secretary of Chief Minister and housing department, lakhsminarayan.
Secretary to Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) and Sakaala Mission Director Shalini Rajneesh felt that Housing Board should regularly organise public interactive meetings to serve the general public as the services of Housing Department are restricted to to few selective areas only .
“ It is better to e-auction all the properties of KHB including the unsold properties and the properties forfeited by KHB due to non-payment by the people for whom the property was allotted” she said.
Additional mission director of Sakala, Manish Moudgil suggested that e- governance department can effectively monitor the administration by embedding the Housing Board software with that of Panchayat Raj Department .
