Movie started. Fans of Upendra had prepared to light a candle inside cinema hall with the entry of their super star Upendra in the movie UPPI 2 in Prassanna theatre in the first show today. Many of them managed to reach the screen .
They did light the candle with the beginning of the movie surrounded with thundering whistles. The movie starts with the song ‘Five star hotel nalli thindre duddu waste’ sung by Punith Rajkumar.
Fans eagerly waiting for their superstar to appear. But the director Upendra knows the trick. He will create a hysteria before making his presence in the movie.Fans again reach the screen to dance in front of screen thinking that Upendra will appear in the movie.
Upendra keeps his fans on their toes. In the movie rowdies, police, students and general public wants to know who is ‘Neenu'( Upendra) and his whereabouts. Similarly fans keep oscillate between their seats and screen, every time there will be indication that Upendra will appear.
Finally he arrives in his own style in the movie. Now the eagerly waiting fans in the theatre reach the screen despite police showing their lathis.
There is a scene in the movie where police after spending lot of time chasing ‘Neenu’ finally finds him. Upendra co-operates police by projecting his hands for putting handcuff. But police returns without arresting. Rowdies to finds upendra in a village. But even rowdies cannot harm him.
Fans are excited to watch a movie with philosophical dialogues. English sub titles helps non-kannada cine goers.
Seems Upendra got inspired by the words of Lao Tzu – “If you are depressed, you are living in the past.If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”
