Mysore, April 12, 2013;
In a gruesome incident five persons of one family including two children were charred to death and three others injured in a fire mishap when a gas cylinder burst in their house at beedi colony in udyadagiri extension early hours here today.
Police said when the fire mishap occurred all the family members were inside the house. The deceased have been identified as Ameer jan (80),father and son , Rezwan(45) his wife, parvan (30), arbiya(10) and arana(8) .
The house collapsed following the impact of the burst and belongings was completely burnt. Injured have been admitted to K R hospital. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control to avoid spread of fire to neighboring houses.
According to injured persons at the hospital suspected that some miscreants might have set on fire by using petrol.
However, City police commissioner Sudeer visited the spot giving the details of the fire mishap and confirmed the death of five persons. An inquiry has been ordered on the fire mishap besides investigation would be continued to know the real fact, he added.
