Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister is expected to campaign in Mangalore South constituency on May 2, to give a fillip to the BJP’s efforts to retain the seat. After Sonia Gandhi who was in Mangalore on 27th April, Modi is the second high profile politician to campaign in Mangalore.

Addressing a press meet in the city MP Nalin Kumar Kateel informed that Modil will take part in a mega convention of the party to be held in Nehru Maidan at 10 am in the morning apart from addressing BJP leaders and party workers. He said Modi himself expressed his wish to come to Mangalore during his recent campaign in Bangalore. Modi will arrive by a special flight from Ahmedabad to Mangalore.
