Janatha dal secular supporters attacked on News paper office of Janathamadyama daily News paper office and also residence of former Rajyasabha member H.K.Javaregowda today afternoon.
The incident occurred when the jubilant workers who are going on procession in the race course road where Janathamadyama office is located . the supporters in the procession burst the crackers in side the office building and abused the press staff . Editor of the Newspaper Mr. R.P.Venkateshmurthy and managing editor Manjunatha Datta lodged complaint with the police.
District Journalist association president Smt. Leelavathi and vice president Attequr Rehaman and other journalists condemned the attack on the news paper office. Mr. Javaregowda told press that the JD(S) supporters attacked his house after the results of election were declared and several congress supporters were also complained about attack on their residences for supporting H.K.Mahesh , the congress candidate.
