Pratapsinha Nayak, District in charge of BJP has said that as part of the introspection to analyze the party’s defeat in the recently concluded elections to the state assembly a team of BJP leaders comprising Suresh Kumar, Sunil Kumar and Kota Srinivas Poojary, will be holding a meeting in Mangalore on May 21, 2013.
Nayak told reporters that the party has constituted separate teams and they are assigned the responsibility of visiting one particular district to analyze the causes for the party’s debacle.
Nayak also pointed out that the party has planned a huge jail-bharo programme on May 27, 2013 to create public awareness on the rampant corruption at the centre, price rise and other similar issues burning issues.
Nayak also criticized the Congress government for indicating that the anti-cow slaughter bill proposed during the BJP rule will be scrapped. The politics of vengeance resorted to by the Congress in the twin districts of coastal Karnataka will be dealt with a fitting response, Nayak said.
