Congress party leaders will work unitedly

Mysore, April 10, 2013: 

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation K.C. Venugopal  said that the party leaders will work unitedly to bring good results in the ensuing elections and added that there were no differences within the party leaders

Venugoplal who is also the election observer for the Congress party in Mysore and Chamarajanagar districts, held a meeting with local party leaders headed by MP R. Dhruvanarayan as per the directions of AICC here.

Speaking to journalists he said the party had  discussed various election-related issues with local leaders. On a question related to the party’s decision on giving at least one ticket to a woman candidate in every Lok Sabha constituency, he said that the matter was left to the high command and wished not to comment on the issue.

“The party high command has decided to issue tickets to all sitting 11 MLAs in Chamarajanagar. With respect to women representation, it will be addressed after the elections while nominations to various Corporations and Boards are announced,” he said. MLA H.S. Mahadeva Prasad was also present on the occasion.
