ENARADA, Mysore July 22 ,2013:
The race horses stationed in Mysore race club have been affecting with infection and the authorities have cancelled all races for one month as a precautionary measure.
According to K.G. Anantharaj Urs, Secretary, Mysore Race Club Ltd, the two days of races , July 22 and 23 and Mysore regular season scheduled to commence from August 16 and 17 are stands cancelled as about 14 race horses were affected with bacterial infection(strangles).
As a preventive measure, the Bangalore turf club Authority have taken a decision not to allow the Mysore based horses run in their course.
