Brigadier S S Katariya took over as the Commandant and Managing Director of 515 Army Base Workshop in Bangalore today.
Brigadier Katariya was commissioned into the Army in the Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) in March 1986.
Before taking over the present appointment he was Colonel EME at 9 Corps Headquarters. Brig Katariya has also served as Commanding Officer of 6602 Maintenance Flight, Staff Officer to DG EME, Commanding Officer of 7011 EME Battalion, Military College of EME etc.
The outgoing Commandant Brig Rajesh Jayaswal is posted to Simulator Development Division, Secunderabad.
