The Sowthadka Maha Ganapati Kshethra, a pilgrimage centre located at a distance of 3 km from Kokkada in Belthangadi Taluk of Dakshina Kannada district distributes fresh and tasty Appa Prasada to the devotees.
please watch the above video to know the process of making Appa Prasada.
In this temple, Lord Maha Ganapathi is out in the open field without a ‘Garbha Gudi’ and temple structure. Devotees attribute the special taste of the temple Prasada to the traditional way of cooking with firewood and using quality ingredients.
