The woman operated water purification plant inaugurated on women’s day today in Govindarajanagar ward.
Jaldhaara foundation which set up the project launched ‘The 8 Dreams Project’ to support other women in Karnaraka, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh to set up their maiden entrepreneurial venture.
A community-based water purification plant has been set-up through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The key resources such as land, a water source and electricity connection will be provided by Bruhat Bengaluru Maha Palike (BBMP).
