1350 KISS students appear for 10th Board Exam: Highest in India

1350 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) are appearing for 10th Board examination-2017 conducted by Odisha Board of Secondary Education.

It is the highest in India, as record number of students from a single school appearing 10th Board Exam. It is also highest in world as record number schedule tribe students of a single school appearing this exam. Many of them are from primitive tribe. Among these students seven hundred are boys and six hundred fifty girls.

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, hard labour of students for preparation for examination and timely guidance of teachers will bring cent percent result to them.

It is the sixteenth batch of KISS appearing for 10th exam. KISS has been achieved cent percent result in board exam since its first batch. Only 19 students in first batch of KISS appeared the 10th Board examination in 2001.
900 students of KIIT University did a commendable job of teaching students of KISS from Grade 8 and beyond in their leisure hours in the most innovative way under the initiative “Maitri”. They covered subjects like maths, soft skills, logical reasoning and many more. Both the groups enjoyed from this collaboration.
