The leading private university of Bangaldesh, Daffodil International University (DIU) conferred DLitt (honoris causa) on Dr. Achyuta Samanta for his big achievement in the field of Social Service on March 6, 2014.
Achyuta Samanta is the founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) , a group of professional institutions including KIIT University and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), a fully free residential institution from KG to PG for over Twenty thousand indigenous children. KISS is located in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha and its braches are set to spread all over the globe.
Education Minister of Bangladesh, Nurul Islam Nahid presented DLitt award to Dr. Achyuta Samanta at the 4th convocation of DIU held on its campus in Ashulia.
