The computers stuck with CD writing of previous days business, failed to proceed for scanning of new documents stalled all the works on Saturday. With Sunday being a holiday, people had no option but to revisit the office on Monday.

The sub-registrar of Gadag, Mrs. Sanjir Pinjara said there is an ‘error’ message shown on one of the documentation done on the previous day and it can be rectified by higher authorities. She further said,” Apart from digital copying of documents of previous days business, there is a mismatch of timings by few seconds between local and main servers located in Bengaluru. I am constantly in touch with the computer division of my department at head office to rectify the issues.”
The director of the stamps and registration department at Gadag, H.B.Honnurappa said he has deputed a technician to resolve the issue.
“This is ridiculous. How can the govt takes the matter so lightly. Due to failure of coordination between their administration and technical team, people are made to suffer,” said N.S.Meharwade, a localite.

Another person who had come to the office said, “We deal with important registrations. If the work gets delayed, then I am at the risk of losing big money.”
