Mangalore, March 5 , 2013:
A drug peddler, believed to be a kingpin of the trade, was caught red-handed along with 1.1 kg of ganja by the police in Mangalore yesterday, March 4, 2013. The accused Madur Nazeer, was said to be the one who was supplying drugs in and around in Mangalore city.
Acting on a tip off Mangalore rural police led by inspector Ravish Naik and SI Sudhakar caught the culprit near Pumpwell, Mangalore. They seized ganja worth Rs. 12,000 and also the Maruti Alto car. A case has been registered in Mangalore rural police station.
