There is a good news for business community, tourists and regula rair travelers from Mysore region as the Spice jet operators are considering starting a daily flight services from Mysore City.
Spice Jet representatives from the city, Bopanna , indicated that daily flight services to Mysore would start from first or second week of April. Currently, Spice Jet has been operating flights on every alternate day to Mysore and has been receiving good response from the public and tourists which have prompted the authorities to extend the flight service on daily basis. Kingfisher Airlines had started flight services to Mysore during 2011 which was stopped after a year.
According to Mysore Airport Director C.N. Manjunath, the matter is said to be discussed during the board meeting of SpiceJet scheduled today at New Delhi. The matter will be put forward by the representative of Spice Jet from Mysore at the meeting. He also added that the proposal will be placed before DGCA. /( ENN)
