The Minister of MSME Mr. K H Muniyappa met and submitted a memorandum to the Minister of Mines Mr. Dinsha Patel today for the early revival of Bharat Gold Mines Limited (BGML) as per the Cabinet Decision taken in 2006.
The Special Leave petition (SLP) for revival of Kolar Golf Field Mines has been filed by the Ministry of Mines and the matter is pending in the Supreme Court and is posted for hearing on 5th July 2013.
The Minister of MSME requested the Minister of Mines to expedite the matter for early disposal of the case in the Apex Court so that the decision for revival of BGML can be implemented as per the outcome of the case.
The Minister of Mines assured that necessary instructions will be given to expedite the matter.
