An enthralling Kingfisher ‘Pre-Derby Party’ and the Kingfisher ‘Starting Draw Nite’, on the night of July 12 at Taj Westend set the stage for the season’s biggest racing event – The Kingfisher Derby scheduled for today.
Bangaloreans were seen enjoying Kingfisher beer and amicably discussing the forthcoming Derby day, the 26th edition of the Kingfisher Derby 2013.
The highlight of the evening was the presence of Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan who set pulses racing while drawing out names of horses at the ‘Starting Draw Nite’ for the Kingfisher Derby on Sunday. The draw of the lots determines the lane of the horses for the race and was attended by the owners, trainers & jockeys.

The party spirits soared further as the ‘Pre-Derby Party’ seeped in with renowned artists Hari & Sukhmani and DJ Whosane enthralling the party enthusiasts with a great fusion of melody. Fashionistas were seen ringing in the Good Times at the Kingfisher Pre-Derby Party. Hari & Sukhmani’s enthralling performance got the crowd into the party mood while DJ Whosane’s foot tapping numbers left the crowd yearning for more.
