Amit Shah visiting Bengaluru to enhance membership drive

ENARADA, Bengaluru, January 2, 2015

After winning series of elections all over the country, the strategist BJP national president Amit Shah is visiting Bengaluru to boost membership drive and to motivate his party office bearers to work harder to win next general elections in Karnataka.

Amit shah is arriving today at 10:00 pm and party state leaders set to give a rousing welcome to him at Kempegowda International Airport. He will stay at Kumarakrupa guest house.

Amit Shah will interact with media at  11:00 am on January 3 and  flag off ‘Shakti Samvardhana Rath,’ vehicle which travels all over the state to promote membership campaign, at 11:45am from BJP office. He will hold a meeting with BJP MLA’s, MP’s and MLC’s at 12noon.

After participating in  BJP District Office Bearers meeting at Gangamma Thimmaiah Kalayana Mantapa at Basaveshwaranagar at 3:00pm, he will return to Delhi in the evening.

According to sources in BJP office, 14 lakh people from Karnataka state have joined BJP by giving a missed call to toll free number and 2.4lakh are from Bengaluru city alone.

In the backdrop of Amit Shah’s  visit and to create a momentum among party workers,  BJP  had organised a meeting of BJP members of Bruhut Bengaluru Mahanagara palike, today in the BJP office in Malleshwaram.
