Aeromodelling enthusiasts rejoice! Bangalore Aeromodelling Show (BAMS) is all set to take off on August 24.

BAMS is a one-day event organised by DTIS Aeromodelling club. This workshop, an Aero-modeling event catering to both engineering brains and hobbyists, mainly concentrates on flying models which will drive the desire in growing minds towards better understanding and the exploration of science.

This workshop is dedicated to learn the technology behind making of aircraft. It will help and encourage the participants to solve real time problem involved in making of glider aircraft. Besides, a live demonstration of RC plane is planned to stimulate the attendees to turn their theoretical knowledge into practical.

Designing and fabricating a glider helps one understand the basic idea behind flight and the significance of various parts of the airplane. It helps the participant understand aerodynamics, controls and stability in the simplest manner. By tweaking slightly with various parts of the glider, one can actually make it perform some interesting aerobatics which will help the participants understand the basic principles of flight.

The vanue is Manpho Convention Center, # 90, Veeranna Palya, Nagawara Ring Road, Opp. BEL Corporate Office, Bangalore – 560045.

The main objective of this show will be to introduce concepts of flying in an interactive and new-age knowledge sharing methods.

The event is targeted at engineering students, pre-university and school students and anyone who is curious and would like to learn Aeromodeling and building flying vehicles

The event is organised by Defence Technology & Infrastructure Society of India – DTIS, a registered Not-for-Profit society founded to promote the manufacturing/ supply of Technology & Infrastructure to the Defence, Aerospace, and Naval sector.
