Inviting US president Barack Obama as guest to the Republic Day celebrations has brought joy on many faces but few organisations are not happy about it.
Ramanjanappa Aldalli , district secretary of Socialist Unity Centre of India and Communist party of India, said America has been the reason for the devastation of many poor and small countries through its interference and dominance. Members of SUCI(C) and left parties burnt an effigy and expressed their anger.
However, people from all walks of life are happy that visit of Obama will improve the relationship between two countries, and India will progress swiftly.
