The silicon valley of India or the Garden city of India, Bengaluru is known for its dense population and heavy movement of vehicles. Due to coronavirus lockdown, the entire city looks deserted as people staying indoors.
B.H Anil Kumar, Commissioner of Bruhut Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and his team consisting of few officials including S. Somashekara, Chief Engineer, Road Infrastructure took an initiative to showcase to the world how Bengaluru city looks like during COVID-19 Lockdown.
“We used drone cameras to capture the main places of Bengaluru city. This video has garnered an excellent response in social media and we are planning to re-launch the video after adding some more missing locations,” said Somashekara.
