Joshi took a dig at the Congress on corruption while listing the achievements of his government in the state in the last five years.  He also described BJP leaders – Shettar, Sadananda Gowda, R Ashok, Eshwarappa and Anantha  Kumar as ‘pancha pandavas’ of Karnataka politics  and said the voters are like their chariots and should support them.

Vijaya Sankalpa Samavesha also witnessed the rejoining of Nagaraja Shetty to the BJP after a short stint with the JD(S).  Other leaders like Kutharugutu Chandrahas Adyantaya, Dinesh Kayarmar, Akbar Badshah Suralpady, Narasimha Hegde, Preetham Shetty, Siddu and Nanaiagh also joined the party.

D V Sadananda Gowda, R Ashok, Nalin Kumar Kateel,   Yogish Bhat, Krishna Palemar, Mallika Prasad, Angara, Padmanabha Kottary Sulochana Bhat, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Monappa Bhandary, Rukmayya Poojary, Gangadhara Goswa, Pratap Sinha Nayak, Devadas Shetty and many other leaders participated in the samavesha. / ENN
