Those visiting Metro cash and carry shops were in for a surprise when the customers were offered a chips packet at 75 per cent discount!
The Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavoured Tortilla Chips packets which cost Rs 100 were sold at a mere Rs 25!
Now, the customers were wondering as to why were these chips were being offered at such a low cost? Is it because of GST or something else?
However, another surprising fact was that many of the customers were not keen to buy them despite the throw away price.
Finally, the suspense was out as the Metro was selling them because the chips packets had an expiry date which was just two days from now!
