While the cold waves intensifies heavily in parts of North India affecting states of UP, Punjab & Haryana, it is affecting parts of North Karnataka with a less intensity. People in North Karnataka are finding many ways to beat the cold including warming themselves around a fire and wearing blanket made from goat skin.
People are experiencing more chilling weather this year and the romantic song Chali Chali Talenu ee Chaliya (hard to endure cold) from the movie ‘Chakravyuha’ is being played by FM channels repeatedly, as the demand for the song raises during winter season.
Normal people turns lazy in chilling weather by trying to oversleep by wearing multiple blankets but devotees of lord ‘Aiyappa’ are brave enough to get up early to take cold water bath.
