While BJP is organising various programs in Bengaluru to celebrate Narendra Modi completing one year as Prime Minister, Communist party of India (CPI) held a protest demonstration against Modi today in the city.
Terming Modi as a close friend of corporate bigwigs and the biggest enemy of poor people, CPI said Modi has neglected poor people, labourers, farmers, women and middle class segment in the country.
Accusing Modi Government in proposing labour law amendments to curtail the rights of the working class to please investors, CPI Bengaluru District Coucil held a protest demonstration against the anti-people policies of the BJP-led NDA central Government today in front of Town Hall. Muralidhar, Advocate and the member of CPI while addressing the protestors said Modi is trying to fool people of the country through sweet talk and people should realise Modi is a big liar.
“Modi has extended huge Tax concessions of over 5.34 Lakh Crore Rupees to Industrialists including Adani, Ambani and Tata group as a ‘return favour’ for obtaining funding from them for his election campaign. This money belongs to people and Modi has gifted this to top business leaders. Modi had promised to bring back the Black money, creating employment opportunities, bring down prices of commodities but he has forgotten his words and enjoying foreign trips. ‘Acche din’ only for Corporates, ” said Muralidhar.
