Governor of Arizona impressed by Architecture of Mysore Palace

ENARADA, Mysore, August, 23,2013:

The Governor of the US State of Arizona, Janice K. Brewer, accompanied by a delegation of seven members including her son Michael, Commerce Authority CEO Sandra and Vice-President David, today visited Mysore city.

The Arizona Governor was welcomed to the Mysore palace by Palace Board Deputy Director T S Subramanya and senior guide Mr Nayak. They presented her a book on the famous Mysore Dasara.

She admitted the beauty of the palace for its architecture and the paintings which impressed her.

She, with closed eyes, also visualised how the Palace looks like by touching the miniature embossed pictures of the Palace meant for the visually challenged.

They also visited campus of  IT major Infosys  at Bogadi on the outskirts  and Brindavan Gardens, below Krishnaraja Sagar dam built across River Cauvery.

The delegation is on a four-day visit to Karnataka since August 21.
